Here are a mixture of mediums in color: colored pencil and acrylic paintings.

Colored Pencil drawing from a photograph I took of a Carousel Horse at Disneyland.

Colored Pencil, 5 x 3 inches.

Colored Pencil, 5 x 3 inches. Edgarton Lighthouse in Massachusetts.

Acrylic Painting, 20 x 20 inches. From a photograph I took of the Gettysburg countryside in Pennsylvania. This is one of the first paintings I did and I was fairly pleased with it.

Acrylic Painting, 14 x 11 inches. From a photograph I took of an abandoned building in the U.S. midwest. I did this one during an Acrylic class; I wasn’t especially happy with the way the building came out,

Acrylic Painting, 14 x 11 inches. From a photo I took of a farm in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. It was at this point that I wondered if I should give up this medium if I was going to continue to try and be detailed-oriented.

This is a mural that I painted at the Unitarian Church of Harrisburg. It existed for quite a long time and was only just recently (2025) painted over. It was painted with regular latex wall paint, as well as some acrylic paints. My mother helped with it, too! Fun fact: the leaves were made with sponges: I cut sponges into various leaf shapes which were then dipped into paint and then placed onto the wall.
